At our school, we want every child to feel confident and capable in a world shaped by technology. To support this, we follow guidance and resources from the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) — a nationally recognised organisation funded by the Department for Education to improve the quality of computing education across the country.

Working with the NCCE helps us to:

  • Deliver a high‑quality, up‑to‑date computing curriculum that reflects current thinking in computer science, digital literacy, and online safety.

  • Ensure teachers have access to expert training and research‑informed resources, enabling them to teach computing with confidence and clarity.

  • Provide children with strong foundations in coding, problem‑solving, logical thinking, and safe use of technology.

  • Offer a clear, consistent progression of skills from Early Years to Year 6, preparing pupils for secondary school and the digital world beyond.
